About the Baltimore Met Gala

Now in its fifth year, the Baltimore MET Gala returns as one of the region’s most anticipated cultural experiences, bringing together fashion, art, music, and community impact on one platform.

The 2026 theme, “Mahogany — A Tribute to Diana Ross,” honors the enduring legacy of a global icon whose influence continues to shape culture, music, and style across generations.

Inspired by the film Mahogany, the evening will deliver an immersive experience celebrating timeless storytelling, bold creativity, and the evolution of Black fashion and artistic expression. From visionary designers and leading models to nationally recognized artists and culinary talent, the Baltimore MET Gala continues to expand its reach and cultural significance. The event will take place on Saturday, August 29 at The Hall at LIVE! Casino & Hotel Maryland, a continued partner in supporting the evolution of the experience.

THE Venue | The Hall at MD LIVE Casino

The 75,000-square-foot, 3-story multi-use concert and event venue features some of the nation’s best touring acts, comedians, championship boxing and other show-stopping entertainment. Every option in the 4,000-seat concert venue, including plush seating in the private VIP boxes with balcony views, offers audiences a unique experience to see their favorite headliners from the built-in performance stage with state-of-the art sound and lighting systems.
