Developed and Produced by The Finn Group and DChase Presents, The Baltimore MET Gala is considered the premiere ART/ PHILANTHROPY/ CULINARY/ FASHION EXPERIENCE in the region. This innovative, creative, and luxurious event is focused on bringing together the best in class from all walks of life with chef-curated menus, premium bars, DJs, live performance performances, and a high-end fashion experience produced by Lana Rae, Earle Bannister, and Jody Davis Designs. The Art Experience will be curated by Internationally renowned artists- Ernest Shaw and Ainsley Burrows, and Culinary installation coordinated by BORT (Black Owned Restaurant Tour) creator Azikiwe DeVeaux.

THE Venue | The Hall at MD LIVE Casino
The 75,000-square-foot, 3-story multi-use concert and event venue features some of the nation’s best touring acts, comedians, championship boxing and other show-stopping entertainment. Baltimore’s premier Art, Philanthropy, Culinary and Fashion event, The Baltimore MET Gala, is thrilled to introduce “STATEMENT 2024”, an avant-garde art exhibition highlighting 20 DMV-based artists. This exhibition showcases compelling artworks that challenge, provoke, and captivate – Featuring a curated selection of pieces based on the event’s theme: “Adam & Eve: Enter The Garden.” Through diverse mediums and innovative techniques, each piece in STATEMENT 2024 invites viewers to engage with the power of art as a form of self-expression and social discourse, bringing the theme to life in a truly mesmerizing experience.”
Ada Pinkston
Ada Pinkston is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and cultural organizer based in Baltimore, Maryland. She creates immersive installations that investigate corporeal experiences of Blackness with a variety of materials including but not limited to: video, sound, photography, sculptural forms, augmented reality, and performance.
Linnea Poole
Linnea Poole is a Baltimore based Community Educator and Art Practitioner. Linnea’s interdisciplinary art practice includes large scale fiber installations and autoethnographic writings that proposes open discussions surrounding topics on Black women, mourning, and healing.

Chukwuemeka Iyke-Azubogu better known as Meka Is a Nigerian-American, Baltimore based potter, sculptor, and multidisciplinary artist. His work is primarily based on his experiences as an artist in America actively working to reconnect with his roots.

Joan Cox
